The Starving Artist's Way
- Chad Davidson is the author of Consolation Miracle (Southern Illinois UP, 2003), winner of the Crab Orchard Prize in Poetry. His poems have been published in Colorado Review, The Paris Review, Pequod, Virginia Quarterly Review, and others. He teaches creative writing and literature at the University of West Georgia.

- Kirsten Johnson’s most recent film, "Deadline", produced by Big Mouth Productions, which she co-directed with Katy Chevigny, is one of the first independent documentaries to be acquired by a major network. An inquiry into the death penalty which follows Governor Ryan of Illinois as he considers granting clemency to inmates of death row in his state, Deadline was broadcast on NBC's Dateline in July, 2004 to an audience of 5.5 million people. Her previous documentary as a director, "Innocent until Proven Guilty" premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and was broadcast on HBO in1999. As a cinematographer, she has worked with directors such as Barbara Kopple, Kirby Dick, and Raoul Peck. Her cinematography is featured in Sundance premiere documentaries such as "Derrida", "the Two Towns of Jasper," "American Standoff" and "Asylum", which was nominated for an Academy Award in 2004.

- Jessica Dickinson is a painter based in Brooklyn, New York, whose work explores abstracted narratives through the poetics of process and space. Group exhibitions include Ace Gallery (NY), Jessica Murray Projects (Brooklyn), Cranbrook Art Museum (MI), Bellwether (Brooklyn). Recipient of residency at The Space Program of The Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation (01-02) and grant from Change, Inc. (03). Has been collaborating with poet Emily Graves for 9 years through publications of poems and drawings. MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 1999, BFA from MICA in 1997; also teaches at The New School in New York, Maryland Institute College of Art (04), and is the Art Specialist at Poly Prep Lower School in Brooklyn.
